Mini Cake Class- Basic Buttercream

Date: July 20th, 2015 -6:00-7:30PM

1-1/2 hour

Objective- learn to frost and decorate a cake with buttercream from start to finish. The student will leave with a fully decorated cake!

1. Sheet cake (9x13) baked but not frosted
2. Flat cake board (10x14)
3. 14" decorator bag
4. (5) decorator or disposable 10-12" bags
5. Icing tips- 789 (icer), 21, 104, 3, 5, 10, 16, 352
6. Approximately 3 lb. Buttercream icing
7. Colored buttercream 1 cup each of green, brown, yellow, red
8. Couplers for bags (5)
9. Plastic spray bottle filled halfway with water
10. Ateco bowl scraper
11. Spoons for filling bags with icing (6)
12. Towel

Buttercream techniques learned will be -
Frosting a sheet cake, 2 types of borders, ruffles, lace, drop flowers, and leaves!

This is a one time class that takes place at our store location in Gainesville, Georgia. All registered students receive a 20% discount off supplies needed and any other items purchased the day of the class.
